In this article, we will be talking about the basic of SEO. There are millions of websites online and almost all these websites are indexed in search engine so it can be found by costumers and users except for website made for private users. Its a categories of listed websites in a search engine which is indexed manually by the admin or editor staffs of the search engine website. Unlike crawler were the indexation is automatic. In directory search engines, you need to manually submit your website for approval and indextation from the search engine website coordinators. When your website is approved, then it will be manually indexed.

Hybrids.

This is a type of search engine that uses different collection of categorized or non categorized data for indexation and search result. It uses both directories and crawler to index webpages and to give search result so you get both directories and crawler search results.

Meta.

Another name for Meta search engine is search aggregator. It retrieves its search engine datas from other search engines and present it as its own search results. This search engine combines search results from several other search engines to give its own search results.

Now lets talk about how search engines works and how websites gets its priority to appear at the top above other websites.

Search engines works exactly like all the types of search engines explained above, web crawler, directories, hybrids and meta search engines. Every search engines are always design to give the users a satisfactory experience, so the most websites that comes up before others has to be a unique and well organized websites. So if you want your website to be a search engine priority when it comes to displaying search result, you had to have a quality website that stands out from other websites.

If you may have noticed, when you search for information in a search engine, the website that comes up first happens to be a well organized website than the rest in the bottom. A well organized website is a website with,

1. Quality contents and well titled. For your website to have a search engine priority, you had to have quality contents. A meaningful content that matches what your website is all about and a well titled topics. How can a quality contents and title helps improve your search engine visibility? If you have a well written content and title that matches what your website is all about, it will form a cluster of keywords that will help a bit to make your website visible to search engine. Sometimes crawler search engines helps your website form keywords in automated indexing, so with a quality content and well matched title to your niche, your website will have some improvement to visibility in search engine results, mostly a well titled topics for your niche.

What is backlinks? Backlinks are links that bounds your website to another website through hyperlink. When your website is mentioned in another website which is hyperlink to your website this create an inbound link which is called a backlink.

If your website has so many inbound links, it means its been mentioned and hyperlinked in many other websites to your website. Which means your websites can be find or redirected or hyperlinked from many other websites to your website. That is, your website can potentially get visitors from other website, so its clearly that your website is popular in the internet. 

Search engines picks the most websites with high qualify backlinks as the most relevant search results for users. How it works, when webpages that hyperlinked your website it creates dofollow links which will be crawl by search engine bot, the dofollow links allows search engine bot to follow these links from those websites to your website then calculates the power and authority ( link juice) its gets from those webpages and ranks your own website. So if the webpages with high page ranking hyperlinks your websites, it passes high quality backlink to your website which can also increase your page ranking in a search engine.

What is a link juice? Link juice is a slang use by SEO experts to describe power, authority, strength and popularity your website gets from a backlink (hyperlink) pointing towards your website. 

2. Nofollow, is a backlinks that does not allow search engine crawler to follow the link and does not boost your website page ranking. If you get a backlink from webpages that make a setting not to allow search engine crawler to follow the webpages it will give your website a nofollow link.

Unique Keywords.

Keywords are words and phrases that are input to a search engine to get related search results. Or words and phrases that you input when indexing your website to a search engine so search engine users can find your website by inputting the same words and phrases when searching for your website content category.



The main system of a search engine is keywords because you need to enter a keyword to search for any content so basically the system is built around keywords. When you index your website to a search engine, you need to enter keywords that users can use to find your website content, so you have to be selective when it come to choosing  your keywords to your webpages. Also you need to have a keyword base webpages titles and headlines because when a search engine crawler index your website, it may use the titles and headlines as the webpage keywords.
